Rickmansworth Physiotherapy and Massage is a professional physiotherapy, sports massage and deep tissue massage clinic based on Station Road, Rickmansworth just off the High Street.

We specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy (joints, muscles and bones) and complimentary treatments. This includes one to one advice on pain management, injury prevention, exercise prescription and returning to activities that matter to you.

By the end of our treatments, you will know the tools and strategies available to be able to self manage your condition,  giving you back control of your injury.

This clinic is linked to Watford Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic and the online appointment booking is shared to allow for greater choice.

Daniel Leers (mCSP, HCPC, BSc Hons, MChem)

Lead Physiotherapist

I setup the Watford Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic clinic in 2019 and the Rickmansworth Physiotherapy & Massage clinic in 2023 as I wanted to deliver the best possible service in a way I truly believe in.

I gained experience in the NHS at West Herts NHS Trust and private practices before establishing this clinic and have specialised primarily in musculoskeletal, sports injuries and orthopaedic injuries.

I studied at the University of Hertfordshire and gained further qualifications in sports massage, acupuncture, pain management and functional strength training.

I am focussed on evidenced based practice and love returning clients to meaningful activities with self management strategies to achieve this.

I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Please feel free to book online or contact us anytime.

Claude Mok (mCSP, HCPC, BSc Hons)

She has completed junior and senior rotations in the NHS and is experienced in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions for clients of different age groups.

Alongside her work at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Claude is also working at the clinic to expand her physiotherapy skills.

Treatments she can provide include physiotherapy, acupuncture, dry needling, sports and deep tissue massages.

Claude is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and can provide assessment and treatment in these languages if needed.

Shaye Murrell-Smith (mSST, BSc Hons)

Shaye graduated with 1st class honours at the University of Essex (BSc Hons) as well as being presented the Dean’s list award for academic excellence. She has since been working in semi-professional football where she has had excellent experience of sports and deep tissue massage treatments as well as assessing and treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries.

Furthermore, Shaye also teaches fitness and rehabilitation at a local college to impart her knowledge to the new generation of fitness, leisure and rehabilitation.

Shaye has a parallel approach to the clinic in that she is strongly evidence based and functional with regards to treatment approach. Shaye is particularly interested in the relationship between rehabilitation, injury prevention and strength and conditioning.
